What is anodising?
Anodising is an electrochemical process that creates a durable, corrosion-resistant and decorative oxide layer on aluminium, improving both the look and the function of the part.

Standard & special colours
Black and silver are our standard finishes and carry no extra cost. Every other colour is a special finish. Anodising a special colour means opening, preparing and carefully controlling a dedicated dye vat for that exact shade - a specialist process, often for a single set of parts. That setup and colour control incurs a charge and adds time, which is why special colours affect both lead time and price.
