Upgrade your VW 16v engine performance with AT Power’s 45mm Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Direct-to-Head (DTH) Throttle Bodies, engineered specifically for Volkswagen ABF, KR, and 9A engines.
Perfectly port-matched to OEM intake ports, these shaftless twin housing throttle bodies are designed for seamless bolt-on installation to short and tall block engines found in popular models such as the Golf GTI 1.8L/2.0L 16v, Scirocco, and Bora.
Compatible Engines:
- KR – 1.8L 16v (found in Mk2 Golf GTI 16v and early Scirocco 16v models)
- 9A – 2.0L 16v (used in some Passat, Corrado, and U.S. market models)
- PL – 1.8L 16v (used in some early Golf/Scirocco 16v applications)
- ABF* – 2.0L 16v (widely used in Mk3 Golf GTI, Seat Ibiza Cupra, and conversions)
*Some ABF engine variants may require a modified or aftermarket coolant water connection for adequate throttle body clearance.
These engines share a similar 16v cylinder head bolt pattern and intake port spacing, making them ideal for direct-to-head throttle body setups.
